London,1891, an American actress, and her friend, a British actress clamor at the possibility of performing in Henrik Ibsen’s Hedda Gabler. Based on a true story, Summer in Gossensass offers meditations on Ibsen’s classic play, the craft of acting, and a life in the theatre.
